Barring any last-minute changes, all is now set at the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti for the Resource Verification visit by the National Universities Commission (NUC) scheduled for April 13-15, 2023.
According to the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Adeoluwa, the NUC team of experts would conduct the Resource Assessment exercise to determine BOUESTI’s suitability to run the 33 new degree programmes being proposed by the University. He stated that the University replete with qualified manpower and adequate facilities for the proposed programmes and expressed confidence that the University would scale the hurdle.
Adeoluwa commended the Ekiti State Government for the tremendous support from the University in preparation for the exercise. He stressed that the proposed programmes are carefully and richly packaged to equip students with functional education for the purpose of being job creators and continually remaining relevant in the ever-dynamic human society. The University currently runs 45 degree programmes spread across three Colleges.
