In a significant stride towards enhancing academic excellence and research capabilities, Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has added the EBSCOHost academic database to its list of academic databases in the University library.
The Acting University Librarian, Mr. Omoloye Oyegbaju who made the disclosure, said this latest feat would have a profound impact on the University community, providing a wealth of resources for students and staff.
EBSCOHost, one of the most popular academic databases in the world, is a globally recognized digital research platform renowned for its extensive collection of scholarly journals, magazines, and other academic resources. He stated that the activation of the database signaled a new era of possibilities for the University as it strives to further its commitment to academic excellence.
Mr. Oyegbaju remarked that the BOUESTI library boasts of a vast array of scholarly resources and urged members of the University community to visit the library to make use of databases of their choice including ProQuest and Research4Life.
